Winter comes.

Hidden,
all that I see before me

...Winter surfaces,
seeking warmth and comfort...
closed it all becomes

where then,
do the shaven head monks pray?

into the recess

your footsteps echoed,
as your heels
trod through my mind
last night...

carefully, you weren't
as you opened doors
long hidden away

surprised you were,
as you walked through
images never seen,

I feel the stains
you left upon my
mind,

As you continued to
invade those things
long forgotten

Did you notice,
as you walked
that I was next to you

Did you not realize,
that as you were here...

I was also doing the same things....

I felt you stir, last night
neath the sheets...

Your breathing slow and steady.
trembling...

I felt you stir, last night
Again I awoke,

Your breathing,
Tempo increased

reaching out,
I touched you

"Honey, Honey"

I whispered...

Yes, it was.

Tousled your hair, disheveled your clothes
or what remained on...
Bewildered, you awoke
gazing at me...
Smirking, I dressed 

"What Happened?"
You asked.

Gently I said,
" Do You not remember love?"

Before I kissed you last night,
you were curious...

You asked " what I would do"
I only whispered...

"Everything"

mine eyes tempted
by that which I see

teased by the promise
of your wicked touch...

fallen, into your arms
again,and again

lift me, from this prison
of my own making

your kisses like rain,
meteoric.

I saw ghostly images of the past...

when I awoke this morning,

the empty spaces in my soul 

were those memories that faded away.

wicked lies written on the page

shattered pieces fragmented and stained

bound by ghosts, captive.

footsteps in blood, leading away

whence you came , why do I not remember?

mental games, handcuffed by lace

a lover's quarrel, shot true

emptiness, my friend.

last night I was a king,
this morning , Nothing.
Tangled sheets. sweaty skin
thrum, thrum, thrum
I can be anything.

pen me a faerie tale,
where the sum is two

compose me a song
Adagio,Adagio....

Dance for me,
Arabesque,

entwined by melodies
haunting and old

walk with me,
down to the Joshua tree.

lets us sit near babylon,
and watch the mummer's dance

speak to me, as sinners do
lay your dreams upon me,

Rejoice, for I am undone

where were you when it rained?
when clouded skies, broke dejected
alone I am again!

Where were you, when yellow eyes
...peeked at me, as I cried.

foggy bottoms, soggy eyes
mist filled wonders
lies in disguise,
kisses in the rain
upon my weary soul
